According to 'The News Of The World', Darren Bent has snubbed a move to Liverpool in favour to join Spurs.
The Charlton Striker has already rejected a £17 million offer to West Ham United and Martin Jol is confident that Charlton will except a £12 million bid for the 23 year old who is expected to sign within the next 24 hours with Tottenham for this season.
Rafa Benitez is keen to strengthen his squad this season with a new striker. Benitez has already been linked with Samuel Eto'o. But, Darren Bent is happy to stay in London.
