The new Aaron Lennon

In an era where Spurs are being linked with top class foreign players, the media have not come to mention the likelihood of right winger Craig Dobson joining Spurs. You may have read Spurs trying to hijack Villa targets or battling Newcastle for the Barcelona star Ludovic Guily.

Liverpool are also apparently fighting Spurs on two fronts, with one battle being rumoured as a Spurs' victory. David Silva has confirmed that he would rather move to London instead of Liverpool. Athletico Madrid star Fernando Torres surely must prove how ridiculous the transfer gossip is, no offence but I'm sure most Spurs fans agree that it is getting silly now.

The young Stevenage lad however, who plays as a right wing has already been the history books of the new Wembley, as he is the first player to be Man of the Match in a competitive game at Wembley.

This is definitely good news for anti-foreigner supporters, Martin Jol has not forgotten to look at English talent as well. Some Spurs fans may have got worried about all these foreigners being linked with Tottenham with young English talent being completely ignored.

I myself think a manager shouldn't be looking at passports rather than talent, but then again you may disagree. However, all parties should be happy as Martin Jol is definitely keeping the balance right. He deserves the credit from all Spurs fans, as he is really trying to favour young English players, but at the same time also brings in top class players.

What are your thoughts.

I watch Stevenage regularly and i can tell you he has potential. He is however 22/23 so not exactly young for a footballer nowadays. Has bags of pace and was nike skills champion so is skillful but he is used more as an impact player but he is very talented and WELL worht an offer if we were interested. Get him with Ricardo Moniz and he will excel.
