Spurs transition

Tottenham transfers may have been limited because they aren't as big as their competitors, things are changing rapidly and positively too. White Hart Lane has welcomed just above average, out of favour internationals, attitude ravaged talents and over-rated players. The last two years have gone very positive for Spurs, who have beaten Manchester Utd to Bale's signature.

Signing of big name players does not only justify the club's size if not that it at least contributes to the transition of the club from small to big. Tottenham are now publishing themselves as a major club although they haven't won any silverware their squad is one to be reckoned with.

I can not but feel sorry for Aston Villa's supposedly interest in Wesley Sneijder, I think most Spurs are starting to realise how it feels to be the bigger club. I can't see how Villa can beat Spurs to the signature of Sneijder who wants Champions League and leave Ajax.

UEFA cup is not the only thing that Tottenham can offer the Dutch star, but their attractive football and exciting quest to finish in the top 4 surely could inspire him to join Spurs.
